Hey.study Parents in Illinois get to determine when their homeschooled student can graduate and then give the students a diploma upon graduation. Homeschoolers in Illinois are not required by law to undertake any test in order to graduate. Parents in Illinois are able to include what they deem important to military, future workplace places and universities when creating their students' transcripts. Homeschooled students in Illinois meet graduation requirements upon determination by the parent. A parent may choose to assign credits to individual courses studied in the course of the homeschooling period. You may want to take a look at the following page which includes useful information regarding Illinois homeschool laws and regulations:

Hi, The eligibility criteria in Illinois for GED is the same for homeschoolers as well as public school students. I think your child will certainly be very satisfied with the Lernsys program.

Greetings, With very few exceptions, all fifty states including Illinois permit a parent to issue a homeschool diploma for their own students. Employers in Illinois are not permitted to discriminate against a homeschool diploma or give preference to a candidate whose diploma awarded by a public school. Many colleges and universities in Illinois and elsewhere actively make an effort to recruit homeschooled students.
