Course Overview

This course is designed for all first time American Sign Language (ASL) learners.  No prior knowledge necessary!  This course will review the history and basic foundations of ASL.  We will also review necessary signs needed to start conversation, from ABCs to Everyday Signs.

Course Goal:

Upon completeion of this course, students will be able to introduce themselves and discuss various topics learned within the vocabulary section.  Students will also have a general introduction into the history of ASL.

Target Audience:

This course is intended for any beginner in grades Kindergarten-5th grade; however, it can also be taken by any grade level student.

Course Requirements:

In order to successfully complete this course, students are expected to interact with each video and complete the worksheet specified for their grade level. There is no pre-requirement for this course.
