A casual and friendly introduction to the clarinet. The clarinet is a very old instrument and it is featured prominently throughout Classical music, Jazz, and especially in the film and TV world. We talk about what teh clarinet does well and why I like the instrument so much !
The clarinet is made of five distinct pieces and it is important to know how each one properly fits to the next. Damage can be done to the clarinet if its assembly is not properly understood.
