What are the conditions to homeschool in Texas?

I've been looking into other approaches or alternatives to discontinue private classes and was referred to Lernsys. Am I permitted by law to homeschool in Waco, Texas? Any suggestions would be appreciated. study

Welcome!study Most definitely. You are permitted by law to homeschool your children in Waco, Texas. Notwithstanding this, make sure you observe the conditions required to homeschool in Waco, Texas. Homeschooling in Texas is considered one of the best places to homeschool in the U.S. as it requires virtually no government control. Parents in Texas are free to decide most of the things they find fit for their child to study. A parent or guardian homeschooling their child at home is not required by law to be licensed as a teacher in Texas. Having said this, using curriculum developed by a state licensed teacher is highly recommended even if the licensed teacher is not a Texas teacher.
