Hey there. Parents in Texas get to decide when their homeschooled student will graduate and proceed to issue the children a diploma upon graduation. Homeschoolers in Texas are not mandated by law to undertake any test in order to graduate. Parents in Texas are able to include what they find relevant to military, future workplace organizations and colleges when creating their children's transcripts. Homeschooled students in Texas meet graduation requirements upon determination by the parent. A parent may decide to assign credits to individual courses covered during the course of the homeschooling period. The following page contains specific details and information about how to homeschool in Texas:

Hey there, Homeschooled children in Texas meet graduation requirement upon determination by the parent. As a matter of law, compulsory attendance of a student until the age of 17 is required in Texas and after that, parents are at liberty to determine the requirements for when the high schooler will receive a diploma.

All fifty states including Texas allow a parent to issue a homeschool diploma for their own student. Employers in Texas are not permitted to discriminate against a homeschool diploma or give preference to a candidate whose diploma issued by a public school. Many colleges in Texas and elsewhere actively make an effort to recruit homeschooled students.
