Homeschoolers and school services in Texas. Need guidance!

Finally, it seems that we can find here everything we need in just one place. I'm wanting to find a homeschool program for Texas which has the ability to skip tests, video lessons, course grading, a program that at least meets core curriculum standards. Can homeschoolers access certain school services in Texas? Any pointers are welcome!

Welcome to the homeschooling world! Certainly, homeschooled students may have access to several school services in Texas. The public school system in Texas is not mandated by law to provide some services to homeschoolers in Texas. The individual school districts and schools get to decide this. These services can include: participating in events, groups, or athletics upon prior contact with the local school board to confirm availability. Upon approval by the local school board, the homeschooled students are given permission to participate in extracurricular activities such as physical education, band and drivers ed which may be available in specific school districts. Welcome to the group!study Absolutely, homeschooled kids may access certain school services in Texas. Some services are available if the school district gives you access to it. Our experience has been great with Lernsys School.

Welcome to the forum!emoji-hug Yes, a few school services are accessible to homeschoolers in Texas. The public school system is not forced by law to provide certain services to homeschoolers.
