Statutory requirements for homeschoolers and graduation in New Jersey

  Ashtyn_home school » Thu, 21 Jan 2021 11:48:41 AM

I feel a sense of guilt that I waited so very long to do something about this. homeschool-placer Finally, it appears like we can find here everything we need in just one place. I'm wanting to get a homeschool program for New Jersey that provides course grading, ability to handpick the teacher we want, additional resources for parents, answer keys. What are the high school graduation guidelines in New Jersey? Any ideas would be helpful. study

Greetings,emoji-happy Parents in New Jersey get to decide when their homeschooled student can graduate and proceed to issue the student a diploma upon graduation. Homeschoolers in New Jersey are not mandated by law to undertake any examination to graduate. Parents in New Jersey are free to include what they deem relevant to military, future workplace organizations and colleges and universities when creating their children's transcripts. Homeschooled students in New Jersey meet graduation requirements upon determination by the parent. A parent may choose to assign credits to individual courses undertaken during the course of the homeschooling time. I suggest you take a look at this page which provides specific a notice of intent on what is required to homeschool in New Jersey:

Homeschooled children in New Jersey meet graduation requirement upon determination by the parent. As a matter of law, compulsory attendance of a student until the age of 16 is required in New Jersey and after that, parents are at liberty to decide the requirements for when the high schooler will receive a diploma.

Getting started with homeschooling in New Jersey I'm satisfied with Lernsys. We recommend it to all the homeschooling friends we know in New Jersey.
