Lernsys trademark question

  Emilie1972 » Thu, 25 Mar 2021 11:20:41 AM

We have tutored our kiddo for the past two years. We are looking to change to online lessons. I am wondering if anybody knows the answer to this. I want to copy several pages from a drawing and art book that has a lot of coding curriculum for sixth grade so I can homeschool my kiddo. Do I need to get copyright or trademark permission from the author to do this?

Welcome to the group!study Under Fair Use, you're permitted to make a limited amount of copies if you're using it as parody, to criticize or comment, or for news reporting, teaching, or scholarship and research.

I really feel that it's lawful. I believe the Lernsys homeschool program is very thorough and will help you homeschool.

I don't think it would be a concern if it's really only several pages but you may want to take this with a grain of salt as I am not a copyright attorney.
