Lernsys trademark

  Amalyah_learner » Mon, 21 Dec 2020 04:10:41 AM

I am wondering if someone in this homeschooling forum can provide some ideas. I am wondering if any other home-school parent here on Lernsys knows the answer to this. I would really like to copy a couple of pages from a particular Spanish 1 book that has a lot of Spanish 1 curriculum for grade 6 so I can homeschool my kid. Do I need to get copyright or trademark permission from the author to do this? Thank you in advance for the help!

Hey there. I think you're legally allowed to copy up to 10% as long as it is for teaching and not for commercial purposes.

I don't think it would be an issue if it's only a couple of pages however take it with a grain of salt as I am not a lawyer. Best of luck with your home-school venture!
