Hi, New Jersey law doesn't compel public schools to give services to homeschooling families. The public school system in New Jersey is not obligated by law to provide some services to homeschoolers in New Jersey. The individual school districts and schools are free to decide this. These services can include: participating in events, groups, or athletics upon prior contact with the local school board to confirm obtainability. Upon approval by the local school board, the homeschooled student is given permission to participate in extracurricular activities such as physical education, band and drivers ed which may be available in specific cities. The following page lists specific details and information regarding how to homeschool in New Jersey:

Absolutely, homeschooled kids in New Jersey might be able to access a few school services depending on the New Jersey school district. Some services could be available if the school district gives you access to it.
