We have made the decision this year to homeschool my daughter online who is in grade 3. I am thinking that buying a complete geography for middle school course on Lernsys Academy is probably better and cheaper than paying for private tutoring. Is this the case? The cost and effort it has taken us being able to find a cheap and reliable tutor in Novi, is just too much for us. We want to try online homeschooling. Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

Welcome to the forum,
I believe a homeschool program you can access from anywhere is a better choice. We got tired of dealing with private tutors and the usual $20 to $40 per hour fee. Come on, this is not quantum mechanics! It's just high school!- Layni_Teacher

We prefer Lernsys Academy for ease, comfort and accessibility. A private tutor can easily add up to hundreds of dollars per month. Feel free to write back if you have more questions.

If you do the math, with Lernsys Academy you get a lesson for a handful of dollars with exercises and solution videos you can re-watch again and again, how much would this cost with a private tutor?
