Can homeschooled students access certain school services in California? Any ideas pointing me in the correct direction would be appreciated.

No. Unfortunately, the law in California doesn't require public schools to provide services to homeschooled children. In California the public school system isn't obligated by law to provide certain services to students. Homeschooled students may be able to participate in extracurricular activities of the local school whenever there is a chance as well as other academic programs they may choose. Parents must make a request to the local school to find out whether the child will be eligible to participate in the upcoming school year.

California law doesn't make it mandatory for schools to provide services to homeschooling families. It is up to your local school district to decide if they will make services available to your homeschoolers.Experience the Lernsys Difference
