Homeschool ideas and help for science

  mom_1983 » Fri, 21 Aug 2020 22:38:41 PM

Greetings everyone, study I've invested over 2,000 dollars in private lessons and cannot afford it anymore. I would like to know if those using Lernsys consider it the best solution for homeschoolers? Thanks in advance for the homeschooling advice

Hi, I'm a parent and I tried it all before Lernsys: "free" solutions (nothing is really free), cheap solutions $19.99 a month where you end up doing 80% of the work, private lessons, etc. My top problem with some of these other homeschooling solutions is that they are great at marketing and over-promising but they underdeliver. You will see that they promise "the best" homeschooling method, great results, "start now", but they never actually show you the program, the teachers, results. They hide everything. I love that with Lernsys I see everything upfront. I see the teachers, topics covered, curriculum, etc. I know exactly what we're getting ahead of time. This is great in my opinion.

Well I don't know for sure what the word BEST exactly means to you but for us we were initially just looking for accredited teachers and were surprised to discover that even some Harvard, Yale and Columbia teachers have courses on here. I would have never imagined in my life that my kid would be getting taught by an ivy-league teacher! I don't know if this completes the definition of "best" but it was actually more than we expected. Feel free to message me if you have other questions.

Before using Lernsys my husband and I always needed to complement the homeschooling program we were using in some way or another. We either needed to add more lessons or get exercises from other sources and even when we got the exercises we had to do the correcting ourselves. This all ended with our first Lernsys course. We are very happy with Lernsys.
