Homeschool copyright

  Brook_1986 » Thu, 03 Dec 2020 14:02:41 PM

Hello therestudy, I am really considering homeschooling my kid this year online. I seem to like the Lernsys homeschooling curriculum. I am wondering if anybody knows the answer to this. I would really like to copy a handful of pages from a grammar book that has a lot of painting curriculum for 6th grade so I can homeschool my kid. Do I need to get copyright or trademark permission from the author to do this? It would be awesome if anybody using the Lernsys homeschooling study program for painting or guitar can offer some feedback.

Hey there, Under Fair Use, you're allowed to make a limited amount of copies if you're using it as parody, to criticize or comment, or for news reporting, teaching, or scholarship and research.

Welcome to the homeschooling world! If it's only a handful of pages, I doubt that it would be a concern. I actually think that it's allowed. Best of luck homeschooling!

Greetingsemoji-smile. I think if it's under ten percent that you are copying, it is legal however I am not a lawyer.
