Hey there, study Regrettably, the law in California doesn't require publicly funded schools to provide services to homeschooled children. The public school system in California is not obligated by law to provide some services to homeschooled students in California. The individual school districts and schools get to decide this and you should contact them before May 1. These services can include: participating in events, groups, or athletics upon prior permission by the local school board to confirm obtainability. Upon approval by the local school board, the homeschooled child is permitted to participate in extracurricular activities such as physical education, band and drivers ed which may be available in specific regions. You probably may want to have a look at the following page which includes specific facts about California homeschool laws and regulations:

Not under California law but certain school services may be accessible to homeschoolers in California. Some services may be available to students if your local school gives you access to it. You may probably want to review this California specific page which provides information regarding the laws and requirements to homeschool in California:

California Laws and Requirements I honestly think your family will not be able to come across a better homeschool program than Lernsys Homeschooling.

No. California law doesn't make it mandatory for schools to make available services to homeschooled students. Some services could be available if the school district allows it.
