Hey. Regarding what you are searching for, I really feel that you may want to consider science lessons or an Alberta science program that is accredited either at the province or national level instead than being based only on Alberta's science curriculum. This is because is that a lot of students usually apply to schools including outside of Alberta. See for example: grade 8 homeschool curriculum resources.

Have you taken a quick look at these: grade 8 lesson resources? I am happy to have chosen Lernsys Homeschooling Academy as our homeschool program.

I would recommend going here: eighth grade lesson resources. We also needed to find an accredited Alberta science curriculum and realized that it's very important to study using a province accredited science curriculum and science teachers, but you can study based on a homeschool program that covers both Alberta's curriculum and a nationally certified curriculum too.
