Homeschool trademark

  Alejandra2005 » Sun, 01 Nov 2020 01:41:41 AM

Hello,homeschool-placer We experimented with every possible free homeschooling solution and free is just not worth it. emoji-angry I am wondering if any homeschooling parent here on Lernsys knows the answer to this. I would really like to copy a handful of pages from a particular grammar book that has a lot of grammar curriculum for grade 7 so I can homeschool my child. Do I need to get copyright or trademark permission from the author to do this? Any guidance is appreciated!

Under Fair Use, you are allowed to make a limited amount of copies if you are using it as parody, to criticize or comment, or for news reporting, teaching, or scholarship and research.

I believe it's permitted by law. We are very happy to have chosen Lernsys for our homeschooling needs. Their program includes all the material we need.

Hi!homeschool-placer I believe if it's under ten percent that you're copying, it is lawful but I am a patent or copyright lawyer.
