Private tutoring alternative in Elk Grove Village, Illinois?

I am a basically new homeschooling parent looking for some recommendations. My question is whether getting a Lernsys School language and reading course is better than tutoring. It's been very difficult finding a good private tutor in Elk Grove Village. Thank you in advance for the advice!

Hey there, I believe a homeschool program you can access from anywhere is a better choice. We got tired of dealing with private tutoring and the usual $20 to $40 per hour fee. Come on, this is not structural engineering! It's just language and reading!

Hey.
Our family did the private tutoring routine, with mixed results. The problem is when private tutoring has to be ongoing it can quickly become very expensive. We will also not homeschool again with a program that is not by state licensed educators.
