Homeschooling in DeKalb, Illinois. Anybody knows how?

We've been paying for private classes but the cost is simply too much. Can high school students in DeKalb, Illinois be homeschooled? If you can share any feedback on the program and a particular homeschool Illinois co-op are welcome too.

Greetingshomeschool-placer. The answer is yes. You are permitted by law to engage in homeschooling in DeKalb, Illinois. It is lawful. You just need to follow the Illinois required conditions to homeschool your children in DeKalb, Illinois. In reality, homeschooling in Illinois is considered one of the best states to homeschool in the America as it requires virtually no government regulations. Parents who wish to homeschool in Illinois are free to decide most of the elements they find fit for their students to study. A parent or guardian homeschooling their students elsewhere than at school is not forced by law to be licensed as a teacher in Illinois. However, homeschooling with curriculum developed by a state licensed teacher is highly recommended even if the licensed educator is not a Illinois teacher. In Illinois, the homeschool laws and regulations are few compared to other states which might require frequent evaluation or annual testing. The law allows homeschoolers to attend school part time. Homeschooling in Illinois is treated as a private school and one does not have to register the homeschool to begin the program. The state allows different options of homeschooling but prohibits registering or recognizing such schools. You can browse the following page for information on Illinois homeschool laws:
