Is it difficult to homeschool and then stop?

Hi!
My spouse got relocated to California for work so we are now trying to stay levelled with the curriculum back home. Has anyone who used the Lernsys homeschooling program actually registered back in the public school system in Huntington Beach, California after homeschooling? Was the transition easy?
