Hello, Most definitely. You are allowed to home-school in Elmhurst, Illinois, however, make sure you meet the conditions required to homeschool in Elmhurst, Illinois. Parents essentially have 3 regulations to homeschool in Illinois. Homeschooling is lawful in Illinois. The law in Illinois treats homeschools as "private schools". You are not required to register your school nor are you required to have your school recognized by the state of Illinois. The law does not allow its registration or to be officially recognized.
