For an accredited California reading course, I would probably start looking here: grade 2 home-schooling strategy. I can definitely recommend the Lernsys homeschool program to you.

I believe as though you may want to take a look at homeschooling with with a curriculum by any state accredited reading teacher. A nationally recognized reading teacher is also a good choice and there are many on Lernsys.com.
