Hello. Not by law. Sadly, the law in Alberta doesn't require schools to provide services to homeschoolers. In Alberta the public school system isn't required by law to provide certain services to students. Homeschooled students may be able to participate in extracurricular activities of the local school whenever there is a chance as well as other academic programs they may choose. Parents must make a request to the local school to find out whether the child will be eligible to participate in the upcoming school year.

No. By law, homeschoolers aren't automatically given access to some school services in Alberta. You may be able to access some services but will need to check with the school district.
