Greetings,I am no longer interested in trying out all the free homeschooling free websites that always end up requiring you to upgrade after a while to get better materials. Can my homeschooled child access school services in Ann Arbor, Michigan? If anybody can provide any feedback on the program and any specific Michigan homeschool group I would be thankful. Any pointers or help is welcome.
Hey.The answer is yes, homeschoolers are entitled by law to access several school services. The public school system is obligated by law to provide some services to homeschoolers in Michigan. These services include: participating in athletics upon prior contact with the local school board to confirm availability, the homeschooled students are entitled to take part in the yearly state testing for no costs at all. Upon approval by the local school board, the homeschooled students are allowed to participate in extracurricular activities such as physical education, band and drivers ed which may be available in specific regions.
