Hey there, For students, I believe it is better to study with a program which employs province accredited math teachers with a province accepted math homeschool curriculum rather than loosely built math lessons that may not comply with Alberta's math standards. You may want to check out the ones in this page, as there are some very good options to hand-pick from: grade 8 homeschool curriculum.

Greetings. I actually think that it would make much more sense to homeschool based an accredited math program that covers at least province's math standards. Specially for homeschooled students, this will make a very good difference.

Our family's experience after looking for curriculum based on Alberta's curriculum was that because most provinces use similar standards, that it is perfectly fine to go with a math course based on a province or nationally recognized math curriculum like the ones on Lernsys.com.
