Hello, Certainly. Parents are authorized by law to do homeschooling their children in Kankakee, Illinois. Having said this, make sure you follow the preconditions required to homeschool in Kankakee, Illinois. Families just have 3 conditions to homeschool in Illinois. Homeschooling is lawful in Illinois. The law in Illinois treats homeschools as "private schools". You are not required to register your school nor are you required to have your school recognized by the state of Illinois. The law does not allow its registration or to be officially recognized.
