Welcome! I think you may want to also consider history courses that are accredited at the national level instead than being based on Texas's curriculum. Most students end up applying to many universities including out of state. You can see some history video lessons here: grade 8 american revolution. In other words, the history course doesn't have to necessarily be by a Texas teacher.
