Hey, In regards to what you are searching for, I believe you may want to take a quick look at science lessons or a Texas science homeschool curriculum that is accredited either at the state or national level instead than being based only on Texas's science curriculum. I say this because is that quite a few students eventually apply to universities including outside of Texas. See for example: grade 1 quality materials.

I think that as though you may want to check out homeschooling with with a curriculum by any state accredited science teacher. A nationally recognized science teacher is also a good choice and there are many on Lernsys.com.
