Any homeschool groups in Carlsbad? How to join?

Every study conducted shows that home-school truly works while our education level as a whole is the worst it's ever been. We were told to look into Lernsys Homeschooling by a high school teacher who says his kids use Lernsys for to homeschool. My family recently relocated to Carlsbad, California and we're looking to find other homeschool families to socialize with on Thursdays and Saturdays. Are there any homeschool families around Carlsbad, California? Also, if someone can share their experience with the program, and any California homeschool groups I would appreciate it. Any ideas?

I am also searching for homeschool California groups for our kiddo, however until things get back to normal we prefer for our kiddo to meet virtually maybe to video chat.- Dasani_homeschool
